The image proxy problem appears to be resolved. It appears to have been caused by a network problem between our New York datacentre and the Akamai CDN. We're still working with NYI and Akamai to understand the fault.

We're currently seeing some unusual behaviour in our image proxy that is causing some images in emails to load slowly or fail completely. We don't have an ETA on a fix yet. We'll post more information when we have it.

Email to iCloud (and some other sites) was being blocked due to a couple of our outgoing IP addresses being listed on the Proofpoint blacklist. This is a rather unusual blacklist and it took a little while to adjust our tools to deal with it. All pending mail has now been delivered. If you're still seeing delivery problems to iCloud, please open a support ticket.

NYI says: It looks like the return path from NYI to Optus goes through Zayo and isn't making it beyond them. We've opened up a ticket with them to try to find out more.

Users on Optus (Australia) are unable to reach FastMail. This is a problem with the network provider and there's nothing we can do. We're monitoring the situation and will post an update when we know more.

Problem was traced to a config error. Its been fixed and mail is now being delivered.

Internal mail (mail from FastMail to FastMail accounts) has been delayed. We're looking into the problem. No mail has been lost.

Some services have been moved away from the overloaded host and normal access has been restored. Some mail was delayed and is now being delivered. The system is being monitored.

One backend mail server is under heavy load and is performing poorly. Some users may see slow response times from mail and calendar operations for a few minutes until services are moved to other machines.
